About Sharon Foster Schoen

SHARON FELL IN LOVE WITH YOGA FROM HER VERY FIRST CLASS WELL OVER 15 YEARS AGO.

Her goal is to share her love of yoga with people who might be hesitant to start a yoga journey. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, Sharon is very enthusiastic about careful alignment, exploring sensations, and having a little fun while respecting where each student is in their process. She hopes to bring joy to each class as each student brings joy to her. She loves watching progress unfold as students gain confidence in their movement. Sharon feels that yoga is for everyone and that it brings so many positive changes in people’s lives.

Sharon earned her 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Certificate through Steph Bell- Mitchell’s Online Yoga School in 2020 and has been working towards establishing herself as a community-based instructor.

When off the mat, Ms. Schoen enjoys spending time with her family, heading a small popcorn company, running a foundation for pediatric brain tumor research, and volunteering as a facilitator for a support group for bereaved parents. Sharon lives with her family in the Metropolitan New York City suburbs of Southwestern Connecticut.
